The saddle that interests me is displayed on your website only in brown.  Do you have a picture of it in black?
  • Most likely, I do.  Please ask.
Can you send me more specific measurements on ________________________?
  • I certainly can send you any measurements you need on any item.
Can I change my order?
  • Yes.  I can always change an order, as long as I have not yet started making it.  So, let me know as soon as possible.
How long will it take me to get my order?
Do you have any items in stock?
  • I will always give a time estimate back to you when you place your order.  It is highly dependent upon how many orders are ahead of yours.  But, in general, most orders are shipped within 2-3 weeks.
  • No.  I make every order as it comes in.
Do you sell the horses, too?
  • I keep a small supply of Breyer horses in stock but sell them only to customers also purchasing a harness(es), as I offer to assemble the harnesses (no charge) directly on the horse.
  • I do not carry a stock of JW horses, but they are easily attainable on ebay.
I have a particular saddle in mind.  Can you make it for me?
Can I change the style of saddle blanket/pad for my saddle?
  • Yes, for military saddles only.  You have your choice of six different styles.  Western saddle blankets are chosen by me to best match the color of your saddle.
The saddle I want to order is only pictured in a different size.  Will it look the same on a larger (smaller) model horse?
  • YES.  The only difference is the size of the saddle.  The only exception is the "Hope Saddle" with regards to the tooling.  The 1:9 scale (Breyer) saddle has a slightly modified tooling pattern due to the smaller area to tool.
The saddle I'd like to purchase is not offered in "Antique Style," and I would like that.  Can I have you "antique" it for me?
  • Yes.  Let me know that is your desire (bmperry194@comcast.net).  For a small extra fee, it can easily be done.

Ordering Information

Ordering Online:
Our online, shopping-cart-style ordering system is completely secure and safe for using your credit card. The actual processing of your credit card will be done by the service "PayPal." When you see an item you want simply click the "add to cart button" next to the item. Some items have selectable options. Please be sure to select the option you want on such items before clicking the button. If you want to order more than one of any item, you may adjust the quantity box next to that item in your cart on the "Your Shopping Cart" page. When you are ready to check out, click the "Check Out Now" button and follow the instructions.

Ordering by mail:
Our shopping-cart system supports mailed-in orders. Just use the cart system as described above in "Ordering online" and select "order through postal mail" on the page that appears after you click the "Check Out Now" button. The system will generate an order form that you can print out and mail. We can not process credit cards on mailed orders; you must pay by check. Please make checks payable to "Barbara Perry."

Gift Orders:
Ben's creations make the perfect gift for the discerning model horse enthusiast! We will enclose a gift card with your order with the message you request. Use the "special instructions" box on the page where you provide your billing information to supply the name and address of the recipient and the sentiment you would like in the gift card. If you are sending gifts to more than one person, just continue typing in the information for each recipient.

Shipping:
All prices include shipping to addresses within the US.
Orders outside the US will have a shipping charge added.
Tracking on international orders is only avaiable by using USPS "Global Express." Please note that "Ben's Custom Tack" cannot be responsible for lost packages if NOT mailed by "Global Express."
