"Collar" ~ Team Harness

***Fits traditional-sized (1/10) Breyer and Stone Model horses.

This team harness is beautifully made to make you the envy of your model horse collector friends! The design was created from photos of real (full size) harnesses.

Each harness features a hand sewn and stuffed collar with pewter hames sewn onto it. Bridle features accented blinkers. Harnesses attach together (for each team) with a chain and each harness include "tracer" straps on each side to attach to the rigging/poles on your rig. Saddle (ie:

belly strap) features pewter terrets to run reins through. All harness parts are made from 100% genuine leather and top quality kangaroo lacing.

Past customers have built such projects as the "Wells Fargo Stage" (pictured) from the "Amati" kit - See here - or here - to create a magnificent finished product. This kit is 1/10 scale which is the same scale as the harness and horses.

Please note: The "crouper" which fits under the tail can only be made for your model horse if it has a "raised" tail. However, many harnesses seen in my research do not even have that feature. I will add it (at no extra cost) if indeed your model horse has a raised tail.

IMPORTANT: I will need to have your model horses to build and customize your harness to them. You can either send me your model horses ( minimal return shipping charges will be applied), or you can purchase them from me. Simply tell me the style and color of horse you prefer and I will do my best to find a matching team(s) for you.

Additionally, fitting the harness to your horse (unless you have an abundance of experience doing this on "real" horses) is very challenging, to say the least. You will receive your horses with the harness already placed on them.

ALSO: Additionally, I will send you photos of how to attach the harnesses to the most common type of rigging (shown in website photos). If your rigging is unique, please let me know (via photos) and I will do my best to adapt the harness to fit it.
